Untitled Document

The AcoustiCase is a Mid Tower case designed with noise reduction in mind. This plain looking black tower case comes with a large set of foam inserts and pieces of noise cancelling and vibration damping rubber. These pre-cut inserts fill almost every nook and cranny of the case, giving a very noticeable reduction in overall computer noise.

Specification

The AcoustiCase has similar dimensions to the typical Mid tower case, at 198 mm wide, 483 mm high, 424 mm deep

It has three CD ROM bays, two floppy drive bay and two hard drive bays, one of which is located above the power supply at the back of the case. One of the available floppy drive bays is occupied with a front panel including 2 USB ports, one Firewire port, microphone and headphone jacks.

The back of the case has provision for either a 92mm or 120mm exhaust fan. There is also space for an 80mm intake fan, but it is so restrictive that it hardly counts. There are three types of acoustic damping material and a total of 15 pieces, each pre-cut to shape with sticky back adhesive where necessary.
