The keyboard and mouse are all flush to the surface, and with
it's large size it feels like a keyboard on a desk as there is ample room for
wrist support. The keyboard feels no different to a high quality desktop keyboard
and it is excellent for both gaming and typing. The mouse is slightly off center
which at first caused a little disorientation when it came to typing, but this
soon went away. As well as the standard keys, using the function button you
can change volume, brightness and speed settings. There are also buttons for
multimedia playback. We were disappointed there was no physical volume switch
as this can come in handy for turning volume off before booting up, to save
embarrassing situations on trains.

The Buccaneer M looks just as nice shut, measuring in at 27cm width, 35cm length
and 4cm height.
Connectivity comes in the form of 4 USB 2.0 ports, 4-pin firewire,
100MBit Ethernet, 54MBit Wireless, 56k Modem, IR, SD Reader and one PCMCIA slot.
Considering how much is on board, 1 PCMCIA slot is more than enough. D-Sub and
TV-Out are also supported for extra displays and a parallel port is included
for any legacy devices.
Along with these wonderful visuals come 4 speaker surround sound.
The quality of these speakers are pretty good, especially for their size but
the surround sound feature is hard to notice. Disappointingly, there is only
a stereo jack out, so you couldn't dock with a set of 4.1 speakers.
