The back plate is also made of clear acrylic and comes with an Artic Cooling thermally controlled fan. The picture below is a bit mis-leading, as it makes the acrylic look white - that is just the card showing through. When the machine is first switched on and the temperature is too low for the artic cooler to run, it tends to make an annoying high-pitched whine, but once the system has warmed up a little, it ticks over at a low rpm leaving the machine virtually silent.

And to finish off the product nicely, 4 matching red thumb screws.
