Here's what it looked like once I scraped off some of the glue and screwed the cover on... not nearly as ghetto as I had planned.

When I got it hooked up to a 120mm case fan, I checked the fan speed and it was at 1970 rpm's. Then I put the thermistor in some 36c water to try and get it to kick into high, I gradually increased the water temp until it got to 41c and WHOOSH! the fan kicked up to 5700rpm and blew the papers off my desk. =D


This was the perfect answer to my kids obnoxious blow hole fan over his AGP slot, we jammed the thermistor up into the video cards heat sink fins and now it doesn't kick into high unless he's really gettin the frag on.
