What can I say apart from I am impressed.
The RAM performance on this board for me is incredible. My PC133 CAS2 RAM is
running at 148mhz CAS2. Obviously this is not down to the board, but all the
other tweaks are the ones that gave such big performance increase. Here are
the options available to RAM:
Enable Dram 4k-Page Mode
Dram Clock (HCLK or HCLK + PCICLK)
Dram Bank Interleaving (none, 2-way, 4-way)
The tweak that really makes the difference
is that interleaving! By using 4-way interleaving really boosted my benchmarks.
Here are some benchmarks showing different setting speeds. This Is SiSoft Sandra
2K.
This is at 133mhz CAS2 with no Ram Tweaks.
10x100=1000mhz

I'd say thats some pretty impressive results for some cheapo generic
ram eh? Makes their Athlon 1ghz look like a weenie.
RAID
How did that perform? Well let me tell you this, it boots into windows
in hardly any time at all. This is very pleasing. It is absolutly blazing! It
streams CD's at a higher potential of the CD-ROM Drives. The Raid setup I have
is Two 30gb IBM 75GXP (ata/100).
This is my sandra benchmark.

Setting them up was not difficult at all. All I did was define an
array in the BIOS by pressing <ctrl>+h. I was using striping for performance
but it does support mirroring as well. Mirroring uses the second harddrive to
keep backups of the information so two 30gb's will only give you 30gbs. With
striping you can have two 30gb's = 60gb's and very fast speed!!
Once all defined, I just fdisked the harddrive to partition it and
then installed windows as normal! Windows 2000 also installed fine using the
disk provided. (Update: The speed above is half what it should be, this
article shows why).
