Untitled Document Conclusion

The Poseidon kit is indeed a great kit for the price. Its nearly perfect for newbies, as you get a complete kit that is ready to install in your case in a snap. The performance is decent, but not anywhere near what is considered top notch. However, with the price in mind, the Poseidon does very well. Another great feature is that it will install on just about any modern CPU, and that it doesn't’t take up all too much space in the case. I could easily find the room for it in a midi tower.

The Poseidon does have a few draw backs though. I would have liked to see a copper CPU block and a radiator shroud that didn't come apart that easy. Perhaps the kit I received was faulty, but it seems its just the way its made. A better fan would also be nice, one that increased airflow and reduced noise somewhat.

If you are inexperienced in the lands of computer water cooling, the Poseidon kit is a good starters kit for you that will get you started and supply you with decent performance without ruining your budget. If you are a hardcore water cooler, there are better paths out there. It's as simple as that.

This kit sells for DKK 999,00 from StudieData. This is around £90 or $140.
