Having found somewhere to put the motherboard I needed to find somewhere for the PSU. This was an ancient Amstrad AT device I picked up for £1 + p&p on ebay. It wouldn't fit in its natural form so I had to strip it out of its box. I botched together a new socket for it out of an old power cable, and more electrical tape. Fortunately it had a nice convenient connector for this, making the job a lot easier.

The picture is pretty poor but you can see the power socket, the convenient plug and the all important electrical tape. My camera only cost £50 so the viewfinder is all off and it seems to have focused on something through the hole in the top of the Workmate I was using. Still it was good value for money and works superbly for more distant pictures. Anyway, back to my mission…
