Untitled Document For this review, the guys over at StarTech.com were nice enough to send us their "2 Port Ultra Compact PC Switcher" built-in-cable KVM Switch. This KVM switch is rated as economy, allowing you to control 2 computers with only 1 keyboard, mouse and monitor.

The entire kit.

StarTech.com claim that this is the smallest KVM switch in the world, and quite frankly I believe them. It would be more or less impossible to make it any smaller! As you would expect, it consists of a small box with a VGA connector and PS/2 connectors for mouse and keyboard.

The box is indeed very small

2 cables are attached to the box, one going to the first PC and the other cable going to the second PC. These cables split into 1 VGA, 1 mouse and 1 keyboard, ready to be hooked up. They aren't especially long, so you will need to have both computers quite near you.
