Installing the heatsink

Like I'm going to touch this stuff...

I couldn't get a good picture of the heatsinks surface, but it had fairly deep grooves left over from machining, despite looking shiny. I used Arctic Silver paste rather than the dodgy "50% Silicon, 20% Carbon, 30% Metal Oxide" stuff that came in the box.

Almost ready to rock:

Fitting the thing was a little fiddly as you have to lay the heatsink on its back and then place the card over it, before fixing that clip through the back of the card. Here's the "gap" between the heatsink and GPU - A snug fit.
