Not long ago, we took a look at the Asetek
WaterChill, which we found to be an excellent kit. It is good to see Asetek
have been keeping busy and have in fact designed a new waterblock that should
offer even better cooling performance, so we decided to put their new Antarctica
water block to the test, head to head with the original water block.
For this review, we will be swapping the original WaterChill CPU block with
the Antarctica block. reusing the other components from the WaterChill kit.
Comparing the performance of these water blocks under the same conditions should
give a good indication of what the Antarctica is capable of.
The Antarctica package comes with 2 Antarctica lids (quick connect fittings),
Thermal paste, polyether 10mm tubing, a Y-fitting, bolts, thumb screws, guides,
springs, and English manual and a few other accessories.

What you see, is what you get
The Antarctica can be used with Intel Socket 478 and AMD Socket A/754/940 making
it a very versatile cooling solution that will fit all main stream processors
of today.
