Final Thoughts

The Buccanner M is quite capable of running current games at fairly reasonable speeds, although it has hardly what could be considered top performance and we do worry how well it run future games. With next generation mobile chipsets on the way, this aging 64MB variety will look feeble in comparison.

However, It's overall quality as a machine cannot be questioned, it really is a wonderful notebook. But for something aimed at the gamer, this would not be a wise investment. However, if you want a good overall machine for playing the occasional game, this could be exactly what you need.

Bundled with the notebook is a carry bag and a small selection of software. Windows XP Professional comes pre-installed. The Buccaneer M+ is covered by a 1 year warranty, with most parts such as the processor and hard drive being covered for even longer. There are several models available in a variety of different speeds ranging from around £1099-£1649 including VAT. This particular model is the £1649 variety, although should have been sent with 1GB of memory.

Pricing is reasonable, being close to that of a similar specification Savrow laptop. If you want to spend this much on a computer is entirely dependent on how much disposable income you have.
