This is the underside of the block. You can see the copper contact area for the CPU quite clearly, with a smooth, flat finish that will please most CPU dies. It came with a pad installed, which I removed to make the results comparable the stock cooler.

What makes this most different from other blocks though, is that the pump is actually integrated. This is actually just a fairly ordinary motor. It drives a small disc with a magnet on.

This magnet is then inset in the block where it propels a small teethed wheel which moves the water.

The top of the block is actually glued into a place which has apparently been tested to incredible extremes in temperature. One of the most impressive features of this product is the attachment system for the tubes. A green casing fits over the top of the tubes and motor, then with the help of 4 screws, it clamps the tubes into place. I pulled on them as hard as I could and it wouldn't detach. Very safe!

In the picture above, you may have noticed an extra tube coming out of the pump. This is a water level, so you can see when you need to top up the system and do so.
