Sunbeam are a company that specialise in making products to make your computer look nicer - be they cases, LED fans or cold cathodes. Since modding accessories are all a matter of personal taste, Sunbeam has a huge product range to cover everyones tastes. Most retailers that stock Sunbeam products don't just have one or two, they too stock a whole range, so there is something for everyone. We decided to do the same and cover a wide selection of products too. However, we were sent so much by Sunbeam, we've had to break it up into two articles!

A lot of these modding accessories are very similar to products offered by other manufacturers such as Coolermaster, Enermax, Akasa, and a great many nameless manufacturers selling under generic brand names. This article will show you what sort of products are available on the market, and perhaps give you some new inspiration for your modding projects.

Crystal Quad LED Fan

This sleeve bearing 80mm fan carries a total of 4 bright blue LEDs. It offers 37.5 CFM at 2800 RPM, with a noise level of 28 dBA. (Factory specifications) This is a bit on the noisy side, especially if you have more than one of these in your computer.

It is a nice fan, but we recommend that you get the version with RPM control, where you can set the speed in the range of 1100 to 2800 RPM. This will make it possible to reduce the sound level considerably. The LEDs are quite bright, and you can get this fan with either blue, red, green or a blue/red combination of LEDs.
