I will now guide you through the contents of the WaterChill
kit.
Radiator and fan
The WaterChill radiator looks very nice, and seems incredibly sturdy. It is
sized for a 120 x 120 mm fan and has holes in both sides for mounting. The fan
(Sunon low noise) is fairly loud at 12 volts, but at 7 volts it is much more
quiet at the expense of a small cooling performance hit - as you will see later
on.

Pump, control unit and reservoir
The pump chosen for the WaterChill is a Hydor L20 which seems to be an excellent
choice. It is an inline pump, so it does not have to be submerged into a water
tank. It is whisper quiet but still pumps 700 l/hr, which is pretty good. It
can either be installed with the included rubber feet or with screws. The reservoir
is transparent, so you can keep an eye on the water level inside. It's lid makes
it easy to fill the system with water.
Asetek recommends that you install the pump and reservoir closely together
as you can see below. If you decide to do so, they include a special bracket
that slides in between the pump and the pump base plate, and has a small piece
of double sided tape in the other end to hold the reservoir. I found this rather
inconvenient and it doesn't seem to offer a permanent fixing. However, the hose
helps keep it in place, so it is not a huge problem. I added a zip tie to keep
things tight, but as I did this after taking the picture below you cannot see
the zip tie.

Pump and reservoir
Along with the pump is the control unit. This unit will let you change fan
voltage and as you can see from the picture below, all you need to do is set
a jumper to select either 7V or 12V. In junction with the hermaphrodite cord,
this box will make sure that the pump turns on/off when you turn on/off the
computer. The control unit also has pins for an LED, but no LED is included
in the kit.

Now to the really exciting part - the water blocks!

Here they are, CPU, north bridge and video card blocks.
