My Sansa e270 6GB MP3 player only lets me store Music files, images and website files. IS there anyway i can get it to let me store any files on there?

I broke the screen so can't use it as an MP3 player

If I remember rightly, you have to change a setting in the menu to make it mass storage. Not entirely possibly now you have no screen :P

Short of looking at the manual and trying to do it blind!

    LOL. No.

It's a menu option on the Sansa.

Like Spode said, it is a menu option. Maybe you could find a broken one on ebay and replace the screen if the price makes it worth it.

If you look in the manual, you might see a picture of the menu and you can mimmick the up/down commands.

Switch your sister's into mass storage mode. Copy everything you do on your sister's model on yours (assuming they're the same model). Saves you having to open up hers and nick the screen.

How can you copy the configs over if it's not in mass storage mode :)

    Nice idea though!

I meant press all the same buttons... What is seen on her screen *should* be what his screen is trying to display. If he presses the button on hers, then the same one on his, he should be able to navigate both devices simultaniously, and end up switching his into mass storage mode at the same time as hers. And then put hers back if needs be.
