I have been toying with the idea of making my own Guitar Hero controller for a while, or simply turning a USB keyboard into a Frets on Fire keyboard. Over at Hackszine, someone has converted a PS2 controller for the Commodore 64, including his own homebrew PS2 converter. The crazy MIDI tones will certainly start your day nicely.

The BBC has an article discussing flexible silicon chips. Although these have medical applications in mind - I imagine this will be affecting the ergonomic design of mobile phones and the like too.

And finally Bit-Tech has an interesting article on "Indie And Experimental Games", that are all free. So if you need some time killers, check them out. I'm strangely compelled to try the old woman simulation...

You always were into the more mature woman. :-#

As for Guitar Hero, I myself have never played, the £60 price tag puts e off slightly....is it worth it?

Guitar Hero is well worth the £60 price tag!
I think Guitar Hero 2 is the best version, but 3 has some pretty cool tunes.

Sweet. I may have to invest. I'll see if I can get it a bit cheaper though!
