Software: Having a Problem with Ubuntu

    I keep getting an error when I try to update. It wants me to manually run dpkg--configure-a. when I go to terminal and type in sudo dpkg--configure- a nothing happens. The forums said to add sudo apt-get updates, and sudo apt-get upgrades nothing happens there either. This all started when I tried to install lime wire.Any suggestions? :S

    I would run "sudo apt-get clean" then "sudo apt-get update" then "sudo apt-get upgrade" :)

    :D You the man! Took all of 10 minutes to fix. Once it told me I had a broken index, I jumped around until I found out how to fix it and alls well again. Thanks
