Now that IS interesting. I Googled it and it looks good, but I'm a bit scared to try it, (Coyote will tell you that my allergy is so long standing that it now has a psychological component - I don't even like TALKING about soy sauce - how sad is that! My stomach contracts at the thought). However, in the real world there are sometimes situations where you have to go with the flow, and end up in a Chinese restauarant - or in China. Or Japan (where I had to resort to MacDonalds a few times to give my digestion a rest from soy :| ). So now I know what to ask for......

Try getting some, and get one of those little round plasters - put a dab in the middle, and stick it to your skin. Leave it there for a while. If you get a rash under the plaster, forget the idea. If not, add a tiny bit to some food (a sammich or something) and see if your tummy is ok with it. If it is, try a little more and a little more until you know for sure whether or not you can handle it.

If not, then you'll just have to stick with indian food when you're out and about, I guess...

If you want something quick, but delicious, and very filling, try this.

6 Tesco Finest Tomato & Chutney Sausages
Llloyd Grossman Tomato & Chargrilled Vegetable Sauce
    400g Pasta Shapes

Chop up the Sausages into peices and fry. Heat the sauce and cook the pasta. Mix sauce with pasta. Put sausage bites in the mixture.
Pour into a dish and put under the grill for 5 minutes. I know this isn't really cooking as it's using a premade sauce, but you can make your own sauce fairly easily, just by frying a small selection of vegetables (peppers, onion, red onion, aubergine, tomato etc) and putting them into a normal tomato sauce you can make using pureƩ and a tin of chopped polum tomatoes. (y)

Or, try my Nandos Piri Piri Bolognese.

    Nandos Piri Piri Marinade
Small Jar of conventional Tomato Bolognese Sauce (e.g. 250g RAGU)
    400g Mince
    Pasta Shapes / Spaghetti

Open your mince meat and pour in about 1/3 of the jar of the Piri Piri Sauce. Mash the sauce up with the mince, and leave in the fridge overnight.
The next evening, fry your mince in a little oil until the meat is cooked. Then add the rest of the Piri Piri Sauce, and the jar of tomato sauce. Fry until the sauce is bubbly. Cook your pasta. Serve - YUM! ;)
