General: It's Gone!

Finally, my gall bladder was taken out on Monday and with only for tiny holes in my tum.
I'm a little sore around the one in my navel, but I'm reasonably good apart from that. I'm feeling better already.

Thanks Spode, either everyone's on holiday, or it's only you that's pleased to see me back? Maybe I'm just being paranoid!

I'm really sorry if I upset anyone by disappearing suddenly, but I have been rather ill of late. I'm on the mend now in more ways than one. I have very much enjoyed my time on Spode's abode over the years and I know I can be a little crass or thoughtless occasionally, but I do have a slightly off the wall sense of humour and I will admit to being Bipolar, (Manic depressive) although not severely enough to warrant med's. so if it's OK with you Guys I would love to join in again. If not, so be it.

Cheers CeeBee, My faith in the NHS is virtually non existent ! It should have been an eighteen week wait to have the op, but I ended up waiting eighteen months. I went in on Friday the 25th of July, waited without even a drink of water for around nine hours, then was told they had run out of time to do the op! I finally had it done on Monday the 28th at 08:45 and managed to fool them that I was well enough to go home Tuesday lunch time. (What a grotty unclean dump) Oh, and by the way, my notes were marked up as "Extremely urgent".

At least I had a decent surgeon, he did a good keyhole job on me and only left me with a a really painful massive bruise around my tum button. (Now almost gone) I'm glad I didn't die as well, Mrs C would have never spoken to me again if I had.

Now the soreness has almost gone, I'm amazed how much better I'm feeling generally, although my gall bladder wasn't infected, it must have been causing some kind of in balance?

I would like to forget about the whole really bad experience now and hopefully stay well for a very long time! I hope things a good with you CeeBee and are having a bit of fun occasionally.
