at PC World.Firstly, my how the weather changes. It's been sunny and warm all day today, lets hope it continues.
Additionally, I have started writing a book. It IS a love story, so if anything involving romance merely only makes you blush, you don't have to read it. However, it isn't at all sloppy, and you can always pass it on to your wives or girlfriends!
I'm quite enjoying writing it, I am adding to it all the time.

Thirdly, my phone contract is up for renewal on the 19th, and I'm totally stumped as to what phone I should get. My D90 is practically dead, it's bashed to smithereens, the battery covers loose, the 0 button you have to hammer to get it to work, the top slide bit is getting loose and the phones software seems to keep crashing. So it's needed.
Any ideas? I'm on O2. I'm not bothered about a fancy camera or gadgets, so perhaps something a little more low key but still stylish would be better - it might give me more power to try and get a better deal too.
Lastly, I tried fixing my trackpad, bios, everything, and sadly it seems to have just gone. It's a pain, as it makes my laptop effectively worthless, I could have probably got £180-220 for it. ![]()
Might be worth finding out what O2 can offer you on your current contract?
I would try opening up your laptop - track pads aren't that hard to get to. You might be able to find someone selling a replacement on eBay. Also just reseating the connector for the trackpad, or checking for dry joints might help.
Have a look at the Stuff Magazine Top 10 - that's what I do when I want to buy a new gadget!
It should help you narrow down to some good options. It looks like the Nokia 6300 might be a good choice:

Also, take the opportunity to look around at contracts online. It can be time-consuming, but can genuinely save you money if you compare the operators. Personally, I'd avoid comparison websites when looking at phone contracts, but it is an option too.
