BT was nice enough to invite me to the Digital Music Awards last night at the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm. Not usually a show I would tune into, but it sounded like a good laugh so I thought I'd go along. It was presented by Fearne Cotton and Rufus Hound (a man I've never seen - shows how much I watch TV...). Not being in the music industry means that the awards meant very little to me, although I did enjoy the live music and the free press bar :P

After the event, the tables were pulled back and the abandoned bottles of wine were soon quaffed. My calves are now aching considerably after jumping around like a complete loony. The bar maid tried to joke that I'm already on YouTube as a crazy white man dancing - I really wouldn't be surprised.

Anyway, for anyone who is interested – here are a few snaps from the evening.

From the balcony, we had a fairly good view of the goings on, but we soon made our way downstairs and blagged our way onto a table in the very front row.

These girls were trying to make an impression in their tight corsets, being an unsigned MySpace band, aiming to compete with the Pussy Cat Dolls. Hardly my sort of music – but I'm not one to turn down a photo opportunity (although I'm getting more and more fed up with the N95 camera...). If you want to check out their music, give the Stonefoxx MySpace page a visit.

I think Stonefoxx just found their new male frontman. That pose looks very natural, you even have the same hair colour as the girl next to you.

I was tempted to offer my backing vocal services, but I was never designed to be in the background ;)
