    I just did my first virus scan on this computer - I've had this computer for two years.

    Take a guess at how many viruses were found... :D

    I don't think so....
    Other than my Windows Firewall the only thing that ever ran was Windows Defender, which so far as I am aware defends against adaware and spyware - not viruses.

    Then you are a fool and deserve any viruses you might have :)

    Ha.
    I got absolutely nothing - neither AVG or Norton found anything more terrifying than a few tracking cookies.

    I'm quite chuffed, I think Vista is proving its worth. For me anyway.

    My XP on my laptop, which I've had for the same amount of time, has slowed down considerably, and I have to keep "maintaining" it. I always forget to defrag, or check for spyware. Vista does it all for me, most of the time I'm not even aware it's happening.

    Since I have been doing the host file on the Tomato powered router, I don't even get the tracking cookies. :D
