RSS feeds can be found on the left hand panel, covering both the blog and the forum itself. Be wary, that each feed is specific to that page. If you are viewing a category, the feed will give you a list of topics. If you are in a discussion, the feed will give a list of posts in that discussion. If you are viewing the blog, you will get all the blog posts, in order. (y)

Another way of keeping in touch with what is going on, is to sign up for a forum account and then subscribe to the category or discussion you like. This way, you will get e-mails when something new has happened. 8)

    Excellent!

I have to say though, that the order the entries appear in the RSS feed is weird. It went : "This morning..." then to "RSS feed" then to "Farewell Pandora" (in terms of newest being at the top). Confused 8-|

That is odd. I imagine it's because it puts the newest commented on at the top. I'll try and change the order later today. (I've got a few things I need to change...)

I've just spent the weekend giving the code to the wonderful "Feed Publisher" RSS Feed extension to Vanilla a doing over. I'm talking to the developer at the moment, but I'm hoping my changes will be taken in - otherwise I shall release it as a forked version.

I have it running here in a limited capacity, as I have decided I only wanted the Blog Feed on display, but it is very powerful, allowing feeds of any discussion, category or even a specific user's comments or blog posts. It can turn *any* search result into an RSS2/ATOM feed.

If anyone wants to give this extension a try - drop me an e-mail and you can help me test it for bugs :)

When I first setup SA, I modified a number of the extensions that I used and I'm now looking through the list and realising that many of them haven't been updated in a year or so. I'm taking it upon myself to approach each developer and see if they have abandoned them. If they have - I shall take over the maintenance of any I deem necessary for a decent Vanilla setup.
