Many of my fellow Journalist friends have been growing a "mo" this month as part of Movember. I have been supporting them by growing a beard, but I have finally been persuaded to whip out a wet razor and join the mo club. I'm a little late in the month, but as I haven't shaved November 1st, things should look god :) I shall be posting some pictures tomorrow when I am finally home.

If you want to sponsor me, all proceeds go to help fund prostate cancer research and you'll get to see some great photos of me in my moustache glory. So head over to the Movember site, and put your money where my tash is. As a reminder, let's take a look at the last time I grew a moustache...

I decided to go down the handle bar root - being a biker after all :P I also thought getting my hair dyed the brightest red possible would be a good idea (more on that later!).

Pictures taken on my web-cam using "Cheese".

I might add how tricky this has been... I get pointed at, waved at and laughed at. And one guy shoulder barged me the other day. For some reason having bright red hair and a stupid moustache has ruined my street fear factor!

    Roll on sponsors!

The red hair and moustache makes you look very gay, nothing wrong with that, but the country is full of half witted homophobes, so, it's either put up with it, or dye your hair back to a normal colour.
BTW how long time wise do you have to grow the upper lip fungus?

Last time I checked, sleeping with other men was gay, not red hair! What a society we live in...

I've got to keep it until the end of November :)

Not allowed! That wouldn't be a Mo!

And indeed, new buttons :) Although I just realised they don't work. LOL. I fixed it though.

You can embed YouTube now - you just put the code such as "NlMYWuGUZlM" in the tag.

Thought I'd drop by some images of the Mo - it's not too late to sponsor! Shaving it off December 1st :)

  1.

That is an impressively dyed head of hair right there. Takes the emphasis away from the tache somewhat... how about dying that too!? All in the name of charity remember ; - )

Tempting Adam! I don't want to end up with red blotches on my face though :P

Went to the Movember party last night. Was good fun and got plenty of photos (which will be winging its way onto the site soon!). The bar was a little disappointing, with 30 minutes waits for drinks and very childish pushing, shoving and groping (I guess I kind of asked for that - wearing a sailor outfit!).

Saw some really very impressive Mos at the event, but these will have to wait for the photos to come up on Pocket-Lint :)
