    After 1.5 years of being a Temp with the Scottish Government, I finally got a proper job! And it's with...*drumroll*...the Scottish Government! Doing practically the same job! :) But no more submitting bloody timesheets, proper holiday entitlement, better pay and flexi-time! Yay!

    It's a one year fixed-term position - Assistant Systems Accountant for the Financial Services division (it's like the Finance department of any private sector organisation - I'm nothing to do with the whole Scottish budget not-getting-passed thing that's going on right now)!

    Just wanted to share my joy!

    Temping =
    18 days' holiday (now 25 days + 10.5 public hol)
    Earning £3400 less (gross) than I will now

    I probably would have stayed for the year anyway, and now's quite a good time to have some security...

    so *big massive raspberry for Spode* :P
