A Plymouth 'Cuda taken at Gumball 3000. And oh look, there's Spode in the background!
Woo, look at my red hair! I wonder if I should re-dye it....
This isn't a picture of mine, but I just thought it was the funniest picture I'd seen in a LONG time.

That must be an advanced technique, I don't remember ever trying that....

My brother, taken on a mobile phone (I think) during a trip to my Dad's place in Wales last April. Anyone who's been that way will know how lucky we were with the weather.
Wow, great landscape! (And a nice motobike...)
I have to say I'm really quite disappointed with the quality of the camera in my N95. Look at the focus towards the right hand edge of this picture. The bush in the centre is the only thing in focus. I can't think why the depth of field would be so shallow. It's got 3 megapixels more than my old Sony W900i and Carl Zeiss optics but the poor exposure and colour reproduction negate any advantage it has. Just goes to show, you can't always judge by specs.

(My dad had texted me to say that snow was predicted today, so I set out to take the summeriest picture I could to reply with.
)
This is a crop of the sharpest part of the photo at 1:1 zoom.

Thought I'd share a picture of my ex-girlfriend and her 3 month old little girl, who's name is Zana.
I split with her because I'm not old/mature enough to be a Dad....the circumstances that caused her pregnancy are terrible though (it's not my child). So who knows what the future holds!
Hmm. Now why doesn't it show up, just a link?
I think it could be the user of an ampersand. Try renaming the file and uploading again.
Hurrah!
It's not yours? I thought you said it was in a post a while back? Were you deceived?
The story surrounding it, it's really quite complicated. Basically she was...well...I'm sure you can see where I'm going. I had no idea at the time....and as I was with her, I assumed it was mine. When I heard what had happened to her, she asked me to tell people the same, to protect her. But in the end, people were just finding out what really happened anyway.
Anyhoo, it's all in the past now. ![]()
One's own problems pale when you read something like this. (at least what i assume mike means) If it were not a public forum i'd enquire further. One thing's for sure though, [cliche] every cloud has a silver lining [/cliche]
Totally. That's a lot of responsibility for someone your age - I guess in one respect you must feel disappointed - but at the same time, what a relief!
I'm relieved you guys seem to get the jist.....explaining it to people without using plain English is difficult, and you just don't really want to say it out loud!
But yeah. Everythings okay now. ![]()
Well he was bound to be somewhere!
Chicago seems prettier than I ever thought, or was it just the location?
I really want to go travelling after University, America is hopefully going to be first stop!
Chicago's a beautiful city, but the weather can be trying. Whenever I visit it's always way too hot or ridiculously cold.
That shot was taken from the Lincoln Park Zoo, a particularly nice spot.
I may be going to the Chicago area later this spring or early summer for some training.
WOW! I am dealing with 80F temps over here and you guys still have snow! ![]()
Well, not exactly "still"; more "for the first time this year"...
Er ye, England's not exactly the country with the most stable weather system. For it's size it's incredible that you can experience just about every kind of weather in one day in the same area.
On Sunday everywhere around me was covered in snow and now it's warm enough to sunbathe in the garden! We'll probably have tornadoes tomorrow. As Bill Bryson points out, I wonder why we have weather forcasts as they always say things like, "Outlook: dry and warm, but cooler with some rain". Now you know why all English people walk around with bowler hats and umbrellas; it's the perfect attire for a normal day out and about old bean...
It snowed on my 20th.
Next best thing to a white Christmas! Equally as unlikely...
She's cute! Nice photo too ![]()
