Those of you looking for some mac style visual flash might want to try this Firefox addon.
It lets you flick through a Google image search in a cover-flowesque style. It makes image searching easier for me as I don't have to keep flicking from page to page.
What it doesn't give you is the option of searching for only large images for example.
PicLens is not available for Linux.

I just typed in 'Spode's Abode' to see what'd come up in an image search and found this impostor.

I tried this on my laptop the other day and it cerainly looks swish. How do you actually do something with an image, like saving it?
When you've got an image selected there's a small right-pointing arrow in a circle at the top of the screen, click on that and it'll take you back to the normal browser page for that picture. Then it's the normal right click to save.
